We are a proudly family-run restaurant with a deep love for Indian food, culture and hospitality. Our female-led kitchen prepares fresh, flavourful dishes using traditional Indian cooking methods, whole spices, quality ingredients and recipes inspired by generations of home-style cooking.
Our menu celebrates the richness of Indian cuisine, from smoky tandoori specialties and slow-cooked curries to fragrant biryanis, fresh naan, street food favourites, vegetarian dishes and comforting family meals. We are proudly fully Halal and offer options for many dietary needs, including vegan, dairy-free and gluten-free choices, along with our popular gluten-free naan.
Imperial is also a fully licensed restaurant and wine bar, offering beer, wine, cocktails, spirits, coffee, tea and traditional chai to complement your dining experience. Bareena
Bareena is a qualified chef from Western Australia with years of hospitality experience. She began her culinary career at Chakra Restaurant, 841 Beaufort Street, Inglewood WA 6052, before expanding her skills in local and continental cuisine at The Breakwater, Hillarys Boat Harbour, 58 Southside Drive, Hillarys WA 6025.
Now leading the kitchen at Imperial Indian Restaurant, Railway Terrace, Rockingham beach foreshore WA 6168, Bareena combines professional training with traditional Indian techniques, aromatic spices and quality ingredients. Guests may also have the opportunity to meet Chef Bareena personally as she continually develops dishes that meet modern dining tastes while remaining deeply rooted in Indian tradition and culture.
Her cooking brings together quality locally sourced meats, carefully selected spices from India, traditional family recipes and the love behind a family-run business. Combined with Imperial’s beautiful Rockingham Beach atmosphere, every dish offers authentic flavour, heartfelt hospitality and a memorable coastal dining experience.
